Hey everyone, so I’ve particularly taken quite an interest in Asher Roth and his crew known as “The Roth Boys”. Maybe some of you know who I’m talking about and maybe some of you don’t, but all of you will get to know them a little bit more. How? Well, Luckily I happened to get a Q&A interview with each of them and got to ask them questions generated by the team and dedicated Pilots Cabin fans.

Magic did not show up for the game…I’m very dissapointed, but this commercial definitely cheered me up. Magic needs to continue the momentum throughout all 48 minutes…it’s funny how Gasol and D.Howard traded places tonight, Howard was going soft and Gasol was making him pay. I seriously think that Magic is the better team here, they just need to show up.

On a side note I truly believe that Cavs vs Lakers would have been a way better series. Let us know what you think.

Everyone is familiar with Kanye West’s song “Amazing”…well check out this parody called “Caucasian”. Be sure to listen to it, it’s hilarious. The song basically announces that Caucasians are bad at basketball I really don’t have any deep insight about the song…it can be very controversial so I’ll leave it at that – don’t forget to peep the song.

So the ‘Heartless’ performance by Kris Allen was spectacular. Kanye West needs to hit him up to do a version of ‘Amazing’. I like this version by Kris Allen more than The Fray’s spin off on it, but I can’t really say it’s better than the original track by Kanye West. What do you think?

So everyone knows the notorious Supercr3w…but no one really knows the true individuals on the street. Honestly, I feel that Supercr3w sold out for the money and the media…but I can’t really hate, because they’re just trying to bring break dancing to the next level – mainstream.

I’m currently watching the Red Bull Rampage and let me tell you, there line of competition is so dope. All of you should definitely peep the Finals highlights:

Something I am noticing about Red Bull, is there marketing/advertising. They have competitions in practically everything, for example their Red Bull Air Race which started today down in San Diego.

I have to give it up to Red Bull and how they have been more than just a drink, but a known symbol for sports and competition. You don’t see Monster or Rockstar on Redbull’s level for a reason…and it clearly because Red Bull’s ‘Beed Had Money’.

Okay since were on the subject back in high school I had a go with the whole break dancing scene. Honestly it wasn’t my thing but showed me the passion I have for music and a new found appreciation for dancing. I tend to follow up on the BBoy scene and one of the main competitions I check up on is Red Bull BC One.

So from time to time, I like to check out my old hobbies and stay some-what up to date. I recently found out that Riverside Community College placed 2nd at WGI: Percussion World Championships 2009. Yet, there performance definitely proved Championship worthy.

Drumming or being apart of a ‘drum line’ is a hobby over looked by many and talked down upon by ‘all’. In the percussion world there are two types of drum competition: Marching (High School or Corps)which goes on in the fall and Indoor Percussion which occurs in the spring. No one knows the amount of sweat and blood that is put in – its harder than everyone thinks (staying on beat, marching/moving on beat, uniformity in stick heights and sound quality, ect).

The videos above feature the two big dogs of the drum world: Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corp (Fall) and Riverside Community College (Spring). Of course they don’t always reign supreme, but when your that legendary you have to throw the kids a bone or two. Anyways, I miss being a die-hard and competing every week. I wish I never gave up the sticks and pad, but hey…everything happens for a reason.
